About Us — Our Story

For over two decades, Tealia has been crafting exceptional Ceylon tea from the misty highlands of Sri Lanka. What started as a family passion in 2001 has grown into a globally recognized brand — but our commitment to quality, authenticity, and the art of tea remains unchanged.

Our Heritage

Tealia was born from a deep love for Ceylon tea and a desire to share Sri Lanka's finest with the world. Our founders grew up surrounded by lush tea gardens in the central highlands — where the cool mountain air, rich soil, and generations of expertise create tea that is truly unmatched.

Today, we source our leaves from the most celebrated tea regions of Sri Lanka — Nuwara Eliya, Uva, Dimbulla, Kandy, and Ruhuna — each producing a distinct character and flavor profile that reflects its unique terroir.
